Convention Facilities-Seasonal Event Staff
About The Position
Under immediate direction, part-time event staff perform tasks in preparation for events such as concerts, plays, trade shows, and other live events. Staff work in various capacities based on department needs, including taking tickets, ushering customers to their seats, operating concessions, performing custodial duties, assisting customers with parking, and setting up and breaking down equipment before and after events. They respond to customer inquiries and provide information tactfully and diplomatically to maximize customer satisfaction. McAllen is a growing city with a population of close to 148,000. Responsibilities
- Prepare for concerts, plays, trade shows, and other live events.
- Take tickets and usher customers to their seats.
