BAS - Controls Tech (Mid or Sr)
About The Position
The Controls Service Technician will install, maintain, and repair control systems for existing clients. This role involves continuous commissioning of past controls projects, checking for hardware failures, and providing software updates. The technician will also respond to unscheduled service calls as needed. A fundamental understanding of installing and testing building automation systems is required, along with strong troubleshooting, repair, diagnosing, and commissioning skills for BAS controls systems. Effective communication with building owners, end users, and general contractors is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Service Technician or similar position
- Well versed in troubleshooting, repair, diagnosing and commissioning controls BAS systems
- Fundamental understanding installing and testing building automation systems
- Ability to work in a team environment
