Controls Service Technician II
About The Position
The Controls Service Technician II installs, tests, services, troubleshoots, and modifies building automation systems (BAS) and associated controls hardware. The role works with existing BAS programs in live environments, rewrites programming sequences, and uses pre-packaged libraries. It also supports commissioning and coordinates system startup, termination, and integration with installation teams. The position is with an established organization with over a century of experience in building systems and energy services. Projects include owner-direct and plan-and-spec/design-build work across new construction, retrofit, and service. The organization serves commercial buildings, higher education, K–12, retail, hospitality, municipal, manufacturing/industrial, and food processing facilities. Its services include building automation and integration, energy procurement, EV charging, HVAC energy improvements, LED lighting and controls, and solar solutions.
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of experience as a Controls Technician, BAS Service Technician, or in a similar role.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Alerton systems is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity servicing Honeywell systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
