About The Position

We are seeking a Controls Estimator for our HVAC Mechanical & BAS Controls Contractor in Denver, CO. This role is crucial for managing and preparing bid requests, utilizing BAS software for data and estimates, and working with various devices and pricing. The ideal candidate will review cost estimates, analyze data, monitor budgets, and create scopes of work while collecting quotes from suppliers. Collaboration with the sales team and attendance at pre-bid walk-throughs are also key aspects of this position. Our company, founded 30 years ago, serves Commercial, Schools, and Hospitals, specializing in Service, Retrofit, and Design Build/New Construction projects, focusing on Energy Solutions and Building Management Technologies.

Requirements

• Prior experience Estimating or similar position

Responsibilities

• Manage and help prepare bid requests
• Put together all data and estimate in BAS software
• Familiar with various devices and pricing
• Review and assess cost estimates
• Analyze data, monitor budgets and prices
• Create various scope of work and collect quotes from suppliers and vendors
• Work closely with the sales team and provide estimates
• Attend Prebid walk throughs as needed
