About The Position

This company specializes in Building Automation, Lighting Control, Energy Management Systems, Access Control & Surveillance. The role involves estimating Controls jobs in Data Center and Government Projects, performing project take-offs, developing Bills of Materials (BOM), and attending pre-bid meetings. The Estimator will assist the Sales Team in configuring systems and understanding project layouts, and provide proposals/bid estimates based on project scope for Building Automation System projects. Estimates are calculated from the cost of materials, subcontractors, purchased equipment, labor, and other activities. The role also includes creating detailed cost estimates from HVAC & DDC system sketches and actively participating in submittals and RFIs.

Requirements

Ability to Estimate Controls jobs in Data Center and Government Projects
Project Take-Offs, develop Bill of Materials (BOM), attend pre-bid meetings
Assist Sales Team in configuring systems and understanding project layout
Provide proposals/bid estimates based on project scope from large to small Building Automation System projects
Create detailed cost estimates from HVAC & DDC system sketches
