About The Position
We have an opening for a BAS Controls Estimator with a base salary ranging from $80,000 to $130,000+. This role is with an HVAC Mechanical / BAS Controls company that specializes in enterprise Central Plant Optimization and large/small Retrofit work. The company has offices in Anaheim, CA and Pasadena, CA, and offers remote flexibility, though site visits for estimates will be required. We pride ourselves on our team, with many tenured staff members and an excellent team dynamic.
Requirements
- Experience with AutoCAD or MS Visio
Responsibilities
- Project Take-Offs
- Develop Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Attend pre-bid meetings
- Estimate projects and working on bids
- Assist Sales Team in configuring systems and understanding project layout
- Provide proposals/bid estimates based on project scope from large to small projects
- Calculate estimates from cost of materials, subcontractors, equipment, labor, etc.
- Create detailed cost estimates from HVAC & DDC system sketches
- Participate on Submittals and RFIs
