About The Position

The BAS Controls Technician installs, starts up, and commissions DDC/BAS control systems; troubleshoots building automation systems; develops and modifies BAS programs; and supports installation teams. The role also involves collaborating with mechanical contractors, general contractors, and end users, maintaining documentation, and communicating system status. Requirements
- Experience as a BAS Controls Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for DDC/BAS systems.
- Hands-on experience installing and testing building automation equipment.
- Solid understanding of commissioning procedures and point-to-point verification.
Responsibilities
- Install, start up, and commission DDC/BAS control systems.
- Troubleshoot building automation systems and identify root-cause issues.
- Perform point-to-point checkout and commissioning activities.
- Write BAS programs from scratch and work with existing program libraries.
- Support installation teams with wiring, conduit bending, and equipment terminations.
- Modify and optimize existing BAS programs to improve system performance.
- Collaborate with mechanical contractors, general contractors, and end users.
- Maintain documentation and communicate system status effectively.
