About The Position

The BAS/BMS Controls Technician will support the growth of the Building Automation division. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with building automation and HVAC controls, DDC controls, system programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting, and can work independently. The role involves working with BAS/BMS and DDC control systems, communications protocols, controllers, and HVAC equipment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of BAS/BMS experience.
• Hands-on experience with BAS/BMS and DDC control systems.
• Experience with HVAC controls.
• Knowledge of BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, and Modbus.
• Experience with Tridium Niagara N4.
• Experience programming and configuring controllers.
• Experience with system startup and commissioning.
• Experience troubleshooting controls and communication issues.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with control wiring, sensors, actuators, VAVs, AHUs, and RTUs.
• Experience with low-voltage systems and networking.
• Ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

• Niagara N4 certification or other BAS manufacturer certifications.
• Experience with platforms such as Distech, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, or similar.

Responsibilities
