About The Position

We are seeking a Controls Estimator to join our team in Kenosha, WI. This role involves managing and preparing bid requests, utilizing BAS software for estimates, and working closely with the sales team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in estimating or a similar position and be familiar with various devices and pricing. Our company, founded over 10 years ago, serves diverse clients in sectors such as Healthcare, Education, Data Centers, Chemical Plants, Food Processing plants, Hospitality, Hotels, and Commercial Service, focusing on design-build/new construction projects. Our services include Building Automation, Ventilation, Heating, Cooling, Refrigeration, Air Handlers, and Refrigeration.

Requirements

• Prior experience Estimating or similar position
• Familiar with various devices and pricing

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with BAS software

Responsibilities

• Manage and help prepare bid requests
• Put together all data and estimate in BAS software
• Review and assess cost estimates
• Analyze data, monitor budgets and prices
• Create various scope of work and collect quotes from suppliers and vendors
• Work closely with the sales team and provide estimates
• Attend Prebid walk throughs as needed
