About The Position

Controls Design Engineer - Portland, ME - HVAC & Controls Company. This role involves creating, designing, and managing BAS systems and architecture, developing Sequences of Operations, performing site visits for job walks, and leading the development of detailed automation data and designs. The engineer will ensure timely and efficient delivery of controls designs and support controls programmers and project managers. A willingness to learn specific BAS programming is required.

Requirements

Prior experience as an applications or Controls Engineer
Proficiency in MS Visio or AutoCAD for creating, designing, and managing BAS systems and architecture
Ability to develop Sequence of Operations for projects
Experience performing job walks at customer sites
Skills in leading and developing detailed automation data and designs
Ability to prepare designs for submittals
Capability to ensure controls designs are delivered on time and efficiently
Willingness to learn how to program in specific BAS lines

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and Understanding of Tridium Niagara is highly preferred

Responsibilities
