About The Position
The Controls Design Engineer will be responsible for developing sequences of operations, providing technical support and training, programming equipment controllers, and assisting with quotes and estimations. This role involves site visits for job walks and ensuring timely delivery of controls designs. The engineer will also support programmers and project managers and is expected to learn specific BAS programming lines.
Requirements
- Prior experience as an applications or Controls Engineer
- Knowledge and Understanding of Tridium Niagara or Honeywell is highly preferred

Responsibilities
- Develop Sequence of Operations for each project
- Provides product and application technical support and training
- Visit customer sites to perform job walks
- Programs equipment controllers and provides start-up assistance for new customers
- Helps create quotes and controls estimations
- Lead and develop detailed automation data and designs and prepare them for submittals
- Ensure controls designs for the project are delivered on time and efficiently
- Help and support controls programmers and project managers
- Willingness to learn how to program in specific BAS lines
