About The Position

The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

Dispatch experience required
Ability to sit and stand
Must be able to multi-task and work in high pressure situations
General/basic computer knowledge and skills required.
Must have excellent Customer Service skills
Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

Interior and exterior patrols
Breaks
Emergency response
Escorts
Door unlocks
Walk on average 5-7 miles a shift
Control access to building
Maintain and secure log books and other security property
Dispatch guards and resources
Properly manage emergencies
Utilize proper call lists
Monitor cameras and alarms
Take proper actions for alarms
Lock and unlock doors via security systems
Fill out reports and work orders
Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
Provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
