About The Position

Direct, lead, motivate, and supervise the contract sales team in the implementation of contracts and inventory management.

Requirements

  • Some college coursework completed
  • 1-2 years of inside sales experience
  • Metals product knowledge
  • Solid computer skills (MS Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • Ability to communicate, either written or verbal, in a knowledgeable, clear and positive manner
  • Leadership skills
  • People skills such as listening, respect, involvement, motivation, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • 4-year college degree
  • 2-3 years outside sales
  • 2-3 years inside sales

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, select, develop and motivate the Contract Sales Associates.
  • Managing key accounts
  • Effective administration of employee training, performance appraisals, and incentive programs.
  • Ensure that our customer inquiries are handled in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.
  • Maintains contract review to ISO9001:2008 standards.
  • Negotiate new and renewal customer contracts.
  • OA10 & SA10 review on an “as needed” basis.
  • N-item review prior to submitting for approval.
  • Implementation of Contract Manager at accounts where required.
  • Plan and direct the activities of all Contract Sales Associates.
