About The Position

Skanska is seeking a Contracts Manager to join its heavy civil infrastructure team in the NYC Metro area. The role independently manages contract functions in support of regional office goals and ensures contracts are processed accurately, consistently, and on time. It requires understanding contractual terms and negotiating changes and amendments, including terms with legal implications. The Contracts Manager serves as the primary point of contact for the Contracts group and project teams, resolving contractual issues between projects and vendors. The position reports to the Contracts Director and coordinates with the Estimating Department and project management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; a Business- or Finance-related degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of contracts management experience.
• Broad understanding of the construction industry and contracts.
• Proficiency with technology platforms, including Adobe, SharePoint, and MS Office.
• Ability to comprehend contractual terms, including terms with legal implications.
• Ability to identify problems, develop and evaluate alternative solutions, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Strong analytical and comprehension skills, organization, and attention to detail.
