Contracted Student Intern - Clinical Professional Services
About The Position
The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking to hire an intern who will support its Clinical Professional Services (CPS) Division in Central Office Boston. The Department of Mental Health assures and provides access to services and supports to meet the mental health needs of individuals of all ages, enabling them to live, work and participate in their communities. The Department establishes standards to ensure effective and culturally competent care to promote recovery. The Department sets policy, promotes self-determination, protects human rights and supports mental health training and research.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
- Organizational skills, ability to handle private and sensitive information as well as multitasking
- Ability to work well within a team, offering assistance and contributing to group projects
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing tasks
- Bilingual or multilingual fluency
Responsibilities
- Behavioral Health Treatment and Referral Platform (BHTRP) Data review daily (monthly, YTD)
- Update Expedited Psychiatric Inpatient Admission website with resources and dashboards/ data trends
- Maintaining relationships with stakeholders
- Responsible for updating (BHTRP) referral database and ensuring status updates are accurate throughout the day
- Maintaining Insurers, Eds, and psychiatric facilities contact lists
