Contract Recruiter

Thyme CareRemote, United States
$60 - $75

About The Position

Thyme Care is seeking a Contract Recruiter for a six-month engagement to support high-volume hiring across their non-clinical Care Delivery teams. This role will primarily focus on positions such as Social Workers, Enrollment Specialists, Care Partners, and Practice Coordinators, with the flexibility to support corporate roles as priorities shift. The ideal candidate is an experienced recruiter who can quickly adapt, manage substantial hiring volume, and serve as a trusted partner to leadership. A key aspect of this role involves a process improvement mindset to continuously enhance recruitment strategies, including the exploration and integration of AI tools to optimize the recruitment process without compromising human judgment. The recruiter will be responsible for the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to closing, and will leverage data to refine strategies and improve outcomes. This position requires a proactive approach to building candidate pipelines and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth company or other high-volume environment.
  • Proven success managing high-volume hiring across operations, customer/member-facing, sales, support, or similar populations.
  • Strong track record independently owning searches and delivering against ambitious hiring targets.
  • Experience managing multiple roles and large candidate funnels without sacrificing candidate experience or quality.
  • Strong sourcing skills with experience using both inbound and outbound strategies.
  • Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and confidently advising or pushing back when appropriate.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and hands-on experience applying AI and emerging technologies to understand how they can improve recruiting.
  • Strong candidate management, offer negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Experience using recruiting data and funnel metrics to diagnose problems and improve results.
  • Fluent using modern applicant tracking systems, preferably Ashby.
  • Ability to ramp quickly, learn the business, and deliver.

Nice To Haves

  • Members-first mindset, deeply valuing Thyme Care's mission and members.
  • High-volume recruiting expertise, knowing how to move quickly and manage significant hiring volume without sacrificing quality or candidate experience.
  • AI curiosity, believing AI will change recruiting and wanting to help figure out how, experimenting, learning quickly, and not being afraid to try something that may not work the first time.
  • Ownership mentality, able to come in, get context quickly, and run, identifying problems early and taking responsibility for getting searches across the finish line.
  • Strong partnership skills, building credibility with hiring managers and candidates through responsiveness, judgment, and clear communication, with the ability to persuade and influence.
  • Agility and adaptability, able to move between hiring populations as business needs change and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.
  • Candidate-focused approach, recognizing that recruiting is a relationship business and creating an experience that makes great candidates want to join Thyme Care.
  • Team mindset, operating as part of the team, sharing learnings, and helping improve recruitment processes beyond individual searches.
  • Healthcare experience is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Own high-volume searches end-to-end, from intake and sourcing through interviews, offers, and close.
  • Partner closely with Care Delivery leaders to understand hiring needs, anticipate demand, and build effective recruiting strategies.
  • Manage multiple roles and significant candidate volume while maintaining speed, quality, and a positive candidate experience.
  • Build and engage pipelines through inbound applicants, proactive sourcing, and referrals.
  • Use recruiting data and funnel insights to identify bottlenecks, adjust strategies, and improve results.
  • Help hiring managers build a competency-based interview process that is efficient, scalable, and grounded in a positive candidate experience.
  • Actively experiment with new AI tools and workflows to improve the recruiting process.
  • Ability to flex into Corporate roles when needed based on hiring demand and team capacity.
  • Identify opportunities to make our high-volume recruiting processes more scalable, efficient, and effective.

Benefits
