About The Position

Manages the overall contract administration process for assigned commodities. The contract administration process includes coordination of contract kick-off meetings, communication with assigned department contract managers as well as suppliers, education of stakeholders on key contract terms and appropriate utilization, monitoring of performance, resolution of non-performance, cure and termination as necessary. This position will also be responsible for planning, coordinating, and processing renewals, amendments, and modifications to existing contracts in a timely manner. Perform other work as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Economics, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Two years of experience in public sector procurement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks in a high-volume work environment.
  • Ability to meet required deadlines to ensure continuity of County operations.
  • Exceptional and professional customer service skills are imperative.
  • Ability to use a variety of information technology systems to perform daily tasks.
  • Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required.

Nice To Haves

  • State or National Procurement Certification is highly preferred.
