About The Position

KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. The 6STS/Defensive Cyber Operations – Space (DCO-S) team develops cyber security SW tools to reside on all MILSATCOM ground entry points and soon on the MILSATCOM space vehicles. This will help ensure that our MILSATCOM capacity is protected from malicious attempts to disable or intercept the command and control of our assets in space. This team is made up of multiple contractors, government personnel, and FFRDCs and together our goal is to support the mission to protect our MILSATCOM assets. This role will ensure that ability of the command to acquire the support and technologies needed to expand and sustain the developed products.

Basic Compensation: $114,000 - $171,000 (Specifically for Colorado Springs)

Responsibilities

Contracting support: This person will directly support the commander and the acquisition flight to acquire the most appropriate technology and support services to enable the team to meet its mission goals.
This person will work at the customer site in Colorado Springs and work directly with the commander and his staff to develop RFI/RPP/RFP and create contracts for the command in coordination with the SSC and FAR guidance.
This person will be integral with development and sustainment contracts as well as, incorporating change proposals into existing contract.
Work with the acquisition flight and all other technical flights to ensure that procurements and contracts achieve the goal to manage the product development and sustainment efforts.
