About The Position

The Contract Custodian performs the full range of custodial services at contract locations. The role involves carrying out assigned cleaning tasks, maintaining clean and sanitary conditions, keeping custodial equipment and supplies orderly, and interacting cooperatively with Government personnel and customers. The custodian must promptly inform a supervisor if Government staff directs changes in contract requirements. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Requirements

• No prior experience or training is required.
• Driving record must be acceptable to the employer's insurance vendor.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Punctual and dependable attendance.
• Flexibility to work shifts and overtime when needed.
• Must complete pre-employment drug screening, background check, and employment verification.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned daily cleaning tasks, including floor stripping and waxing, window washing, pressure washing, and restroom cleaning.
• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions throughout assigned areas.
• Keep custodial equipment and supplies neat and orderly.
• Interact cooperatively with Government personnel and customers.
• Immediately advise a supervisor when Government staff directs changes in contract requirements.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
