About The Position

As a vital member of our Compliance team, the Compliance Specialist ensures all temporary healthcare professionals meet regulatory and client-specific compliance standards prior to assignment start dates. This position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of our services by upholding standards set by HIPAA, OSHA, The Joint Commission, Homeland Security, Trio WFS, and various client organizations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in credentialing, onboarding, compliance, or staffing operations
  • Experience working in high-volume administrative or compliance environments
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple systems including VMS, and credentialing platforms
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with MSP clients and VMS technology
  • Experience credentialing locums providers with healthcare facilities, communicating with CVO, MSO, and Provider Enrollment teams.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading, monitoring, and maintaining the credentialing and re-credentialing process.
  • Ensures interpretation and compliance with the appropriate accrediting and regulatory agencies.
  • Maintains set production and quality standards.
  • Verifies that all submitted credentials are current and complete.
  • Verifies all credentials, including license and applicable certifications.
  • Maintains accurate records of all files in Trio VMS.
  • Communicates applicable updates and notices to agencies.
  • Monitors expiration dates of credentials and COI.
  • Maintains privacy and confidentiality (intentional or unintentional) of company and employee information in verbal, written, and electronic form. Limits access to all information to job-related on a need-to-know basis.
  • Notifies respective senior managers of problem-causing trends with vendors on items needing attention.
  • Use independent judgment to manage and impart confidential information.
