About The Position

Delta Defense is seeking a proven advertising sales professional with experience in the firearms industry for a 100% commission-based contract role. The position begins with an existing book of business to support, retain, nurture, and grow, as well as a large pool of prospective advertisers who have not yet been contacted. The goal is to secure signed insertion orders and increase advertising revenue. The salesperson earns 15% of advertising revenue actually paid by clients. Advertising rates may be negotiated when appropriate, and commission is based on the final amount paid by the customer. There is no guaranteed base salary or commission cap. The role is remote and offers flexibility to work from anywhere and set a schedule that suits the salesperson. Success depends on personal performance and results.

Requirements

• Proven advertising sales experience within the firearms industry; this is a non-negotiable requirement.
• Comfort with commission-only compensation.
• Motivation by earning potential and personal performance.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and sell over the phone.
• Consistent follow-up without reminders.
• Ability to handle rejection without losing momentum.
• Ability to negotiate without giving away the business.
• Self-directed and comfortable working independently.
• Understanding that results drive compensation.

Responsibilities

• Call existing advertisers and maintain strong relationships.
• Follow up consistently until there is a clear yes or no.
• Sell advertising and secure signed insertion orders.
• Identify opportunities to increase spending within existing accounts.
• Prospect to potential advertisers who have not yet been contacted.
• Negotiate advertising rates when needed to close business.
• Stay organized and keep opportunities moving.
• Partner with the publishing team for support, strategy, and account information.
• Own the sales pipeline and results.
