The UHS Corporate Legal Department is hiring a Contract Administrator with the primary responsibility of preparation of Business Associate Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and Vendor Contracts and Leases. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum 1-3 years' of contract negotiation and preparation experience
  • Basic understanding of the legal implications of contract provisions.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Detail oriented with good organization skills
  • Ability to work closely with upper management personnel
  • Ability to multi-task and handle high volume of work with deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to learn Sharepoint and other document management systems

Responsibilities

  • Complete timely contract review, analysis, and drafting of vendor contracts, leases, education affiliation, IT, managed care, foster care and other professional agreements as requested
  • Analyze all clauses, stipulations, obligations and liabilities to ensure the best interest of UHS and its facilities.
  • Serve as the liaison between UHS facilities and the facility vendors in the negotiation of contracts and such other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Complete timely review, analysis, and drafting of Business Associate Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements
