About The Position

The open Contract Administrator II position in Nashua, NH supports contracting activities within the Advanced Electronic Warfare Solution (AEWS) product line in the Electronic Combat Systems (ECS) Business Area. The selected candidate will support the Contracts team with a variety of customers and programs to shape and close business opportunities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of related contracts experience or equivalent experience in DOD contracting.
  • Strong team players who enjoy working with program management and other functional disciplines in a supportive and complementary manner.
  • Sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, leadership, customers, and suppliers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Computer skills to maintain contract records within our business systems as well as demonstrated research and presentation skills.
  • Possesses a US DoD SECRET level clearance and ability to obtain Special Access Program clearances.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with complex RFPs and proposal development at BAE Systems.
  • Experience managing various USG and prime contract customers.
  • Holds an active DoD TS clearance or holds a Special Access Program clearance.
  • Hands-on knowledge of, and experience with, FAR and DFAR and export regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Support assigned proposal activities
  • Coordinate with other Company functions as required
  • Assist upper-level Contract Administrators and Managers in negotiations and other activities.
  • Negotiate routine contracts and changes under the specific guidance of the higher-level Contract Administrator or Contracts Manager.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Company and the Customer for all contractual matters on assigned contracts.
  • Draft, prepare, and execute certain internal and external correspondence on contractual/program matters, under review by upper-level Contract Administrators or Contract Managers, commensurate with experience and demonstrated competence.
  • Administer all aspects of assigned contract processing including, but not limited to, accuracy of order entry data, contract funding, scope changes, contract amendments, receipts and delivery schedules, legal requirements and other commitments.
  • Compile and maintain all required contractual records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and Company policies and procedures. Serve as the official repository for all contractual documentation and correspondence relative to assigned contracts.
  • Participate in final stages of assigned contract by verifying completion of all commitments, and performing assigned activities associated with Contract Closeout.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as all legal, regulatory, and customer requirements.
