Wheeler Machinery Co•Salt Lake City, UT

About The Position

The Continuous Improvement Coordinator coaches, teaches, and mentors frontline employees and leaders on continuous improvement (CI) methodology within an assigned area of the business: Service, Parts, or HQ/Rental. The Coordinator owns CI support for that area at every Wheeler location and serves as the primary CI partner for the branches assigned to it. In partnership with area leadership, the Coordinator connects improvement work to the department’s priorities, playbook, and KPIs, integrating CI into the area’s daily operations. The role spends most of its time at the Gemba, using Lean and Wheeler tools to foster an engaged problem-solving culture and sustain the Wheeler Way Forward. Branch managers remain accountable for leading CI at their branches; the Coordinator equips and supports them through coaching, mentoring, facilitation, and predictable branch visits. Assignments may change as circumstances evolve. Branches are within driving distance of Salt Lake City, Utah, and travel frequency varies by area of focus.
