About The Position

This work assignment is not intended to provide a comprehensive listing of activities or requirements. Assignment requirements and activities may change at any time, with or without notice. Contingent Workers must complete the applicable jobsite safety training and, before starting an assignment, pass a pre-assignment drug test through Performance Contracting’s Substance Abuse Prevention Department. Workers may also be subject to random, post-accident, and reasonable-suspicion drug or alcohol testing and other procedures under applicable policy, law, or jobsite contract requirements. For work on applicable federal projects or projects requiring verification, the Branch will obtain E-Verify confirmation of work eligibility. The worker’s agency must comply with applicable federal, state, and local equal employment opportunity requirements, which are subject to Performance Contracting audit.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Minimum experience applicable to each work assignment.
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods.
• Physical ability to perform necessary tasks.
• May be required to lift and/or work from heights, depending on the assignment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a pre-assignment drug test before starting the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Complete the safety training required by the worksite.
• Pass the required pre-assignment drug test before commencing the assignment.
• Comply with applicable substance-abuse testing and procedures.
• Provide work-eligibility verification when required for the project.
• Comply with applicable equal employment opportunity requirements.
