About The Position

Inuvet is looking for a curious, animal-loving Content Writer to create engaging, accurate content about animal health for veterinary professionals and pet owners. The role involves researching stories firsthand by visiting veterinary practices, accompanying sales representatives, speaking with practice teams, and asking questions rather than relying solely on online research. The writer turns specialist knowledge into clear, approachable content that informs and entertains its audiences. The position includes writing newsletters, SEO-oriented blog articles, print materials, and social media copy. The writer also reviews performance indicators such as open rates and traffic and uses the results to improve content. Work can be performed remotely, and working hours can be arranged independently. The role is offered at 50–100% workload, with availability across five days per week.

Requirements

  • Strong writing ability for different audiences, using a collegial and professional tone for veterinarians and a warm, clear tone for dog and cat owners.
  • Provide writing samples; the route into the profession (degree, traineeship, or career change) is less important than work samples.
  • Comfort approaching unfamiliar people, calling practices, and speaking with busy practice teams.
  • Comfort being present during an operation.
  • Enjoy traveling and hold a driving licence.
  • Use AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT as tools rather than ghostwriters, while retaining a recognizable personal writing style.
  • Understand why content works or be willing to find out; SEO and performance metrics should not be daunting.
  • Be available across five days per week, with a desired workload of 50–100%.

Responsibilities

  • Visit veterinary practices, sometimes accompanying sales representatives, and gather information and stories through direct conversations.
  • Contact veterinary practices by phone and follow up on stories and subjects relevant to content.
  • Write newsletters for veterinary practices and pet owners.
  • Create accessible blog articles about animal health that are discoverable through Google and SEO.
  • Develop creative print materials such as flyers and brochures.
  • Write social media copy that encourages engagement and comments.
  • Review content performance, including open rates and website traffic, and apply findings to future work.

Benefits

  • Independently arranged working hours.
  • A distinctive, friendly company culture.
  • Remote work is possible.
  • Dogs are welcome at work (“Bring your Dog”).
  • Individual, needs-based employee development and coaching.
  • Discounts on Planet Group products.
  • Option to lease a job bike.
  • Option to join Hansefit, providing access to sports and health offers.
  • Company pension scheme, available after successfully completing the first six months of employment.
