About The Position

Become part of Septeo CNEE and support demanding clients in the insolvency industry from initial requirements gathering to successful implementation. You will combine technical expertise with consulting skills to develop individual solutions for complex business processes. You won't be working on a standard product or just processing tickets; instead, you'll collaborate with our clients to design custom workflows, migrations, and integrations that provide direct practical value. If you enjoy taking responsibility, contributing technically, and interacting with clients, we encourage you to apply. This role can be based anywhere in Germany. As collaboration with clients and the team is a crucial part of this position, we value regular presence at our Karlsruhe location (approx. 1-2 days per week) and occasional on-site client appointments.

Requirements

Several years of experience in software development or technical consulting in a project-oriented environment.
Sound knowledge of C#/.NET, MS Access, MS SQL Server, VBA, and ideally modern frontend technologies such as Angular, React, or Blazor.
Experience in analyzing business requirements and in the conception, development, and implementation of individual software solutions.
Knowledge in system integration, data migrations, and interface development.
Experience with electronic signatures and digital processes in a legal or regulated environment, ideally including electronic legal transactions (e.g., EGVP).
Strong understanding of business processes and enjoyment of collaborating with clients and departments.
Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working combined with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Conception, development, and further development of individual software solutions, interfaces, workflows, and integrations based on C#/.NET, VBA, XML, and modern web technologies.
Support, maintenance, and optimization of existing applications and associated database structures based on MS Access and MS SQL Server.
Development and integration of digital solutions, as well as connection of existing systems and interfaces.
Analysis of business and technical requirements, and development of sustainable, practice-oriented solution approaches.
Consulting and supporting clients in the digitalization and optimization of their business processes.
Technical coordination with clients and close collaboration with internal and external departments.
Creation of technical documentation and ensuring structured version control with Git.
