About The Position

NexGen is seeking an experienced Content Marketing Manager to own its content engine, from strategy and search insight through production, distribution, and measurement. Reporting directly to the CMO, the manager will identify what buyers are searching for, create content that addresses those needs, and scale it across channels used by remote and hybrid leaders. The role combines strategic storytelling, hands-on content creation, and analytical marketing, using AI and data to improve how content is developed and prioritized. The manager will produce video from concept to final cut, create thought leadership in multiple formats, and own the editorial calendar, brand voice, and messaging. The role also involves repurposing core assets across formats and channels, promoting content across owned, earned, and paid platforms, measuring results, and partnering with Sales and Customer Success on buyer-journey and customer-retention content. This is a 100% remote environment.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of B2B SaaS content marketing experience.
  • SEO/GEO experience identifying content needs and building and scaling content to meet them.
  • Proven experience creating video from beginning to end.
  • Ability to create thought leadership in various formats.
  • Knowledge of single-sourcing content for reuse across formats and channels.
  • Experience distributing content across a wide variety of platforms.
  • Working knowledge of short-form content formats and best practices.
  • Experience measuring content outcomes with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and marketing automation or CRM platforms.
  • Ability to use AI for research, process improvement, and content structuring.
  • Experience owning an editorial calendar and maintaining brand voice and messaging consistency.
  • A portfolio demonstrating work across written, video, and short-form content.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a 100% remote environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating sales enablement content such as case studies, battlecards, one-pagers, and email assets.
  • Experience creating customer marketing content such as customer stories, testimonials, and onboarding or adoption content.
  • Background in collaboration, workplace, or workforce technology.
  • Highly analytical, with a track record of using data to improve content performance.
  • Creative and self-directed, with the ability to take a project from idea to published asset.

Responsibilities

  • Use SEO and GEO (generative engine optimization) research to identify content gaps and buyer needs, then build and scale content programs to address them.
  • Own the editorial calendar, brand voice, and messaging consistency across content and channels.
  • Produce video from concept to publication, including scripting, filming, and editing.
  • Create thought leadership in formats such as articles, guides, webinars, and executive bylines.
  • Create core assets once and repurpose them across formats and channels.
  • Develop short-form content for social and video platforms, including LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts.
  • Distribute and promote content across owned, earned, and paid platforms.
  • Use AI for research, process improvement, and content structuring.
  • Measure content outcomes with analytics tools and use results to refine strategy and prioritize future content.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success on content that supports the buyer journey and customer retention.
