About The Position

Obvio AI is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to own the company's narrative, digital presence, editorial strategy, and content creation engine. The role involves translating complex technical architectures and civic policy nuances into clear, compelling content for city officials, law enforcement leadership, community advocates, and enterprise partners. The Content Marketing Manager will serve as the central editorial engine, producing whitepapers, managing the website and social channels, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to create sales, product, and brand collateral.

Requirements

  • 3-6+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or copywriting, ideally within B2B SaaS, AI, smart cities, hardware, or civic/public sector technology.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and editing skills: a proven ability to simplify complex technical, regulatory, or policy concepts into crisp, authoritative prose.
  • Demonstrated track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Execs) to design and produce end-to-end collateral suites.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing long-form content (whitepapers, case studies), web/landing page copy, social media campaigns, and sales collateral (one-pagers, decks).
  • Proven experience managing B2B social media channels and driving digital growth.
  • High agency and ownership mindset—a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and takes projects from initial brief to final delivery.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in journalism, public policy, technical writing, or creative copy-editing.
  • Familiarity with public safety, smart city technology, transportation policy, or municipal procurement.
  • Experience working with multimedia content, such as podcast scriptwriting, video storyboarding, or data visualization.

Responsibilities

  • Own all company collateral by partnering with Sales, Product, Policy/Government Relations, and Leadership to conceptualize, write, and deliver physical and digital collateral, including pitch decks, product sheets, one-pagers, field marketing assets, policy briefs, and buyer enablement tools.
  • Drive web & digital content by writing, testing, and optimizing copy for the Obvio website and campaign landing pages, focusing on clear messaging and conversion rate optimization in alignment with GTM goals.
  • Lead social & digital channels by owning and scaling Obvio’s social channels, building a distinct voice, managing the publishing calendar, and executing campaigns to build community trust and brand engagement.
  • Execute long-form editorial strategy by writing authoritative content such as whitepapers, research reports, customer case studies, and policy position papers covering physical AI, traffic safety, and smart municipal infrastructure.
  • Extract technical insights by interviewing internal technical leads, city officials, police leadership, and urban planners to transform domain expertise into authentic, compelling stories.
  • Manage distribution & analytics by establishing multi-channel content distribution strategies, optimizing web properties for SEO, and tracking performance metrics related to web traffic, pipeline generation, and brand awareness.
