About The Position

Jomboy Media's Content Internship is a hands-on training program for students who want to learn how sports media content is produced, from live events to studio shows and social media. Interns work for academic credit and, under direct supervision, shadow and assist content creators, editors, and producers. They gain exposure to flagship shows including Warehouse Games, Talkin' Yanks, Talkin' Baseball, and Breakdowns. The internship is based out of the company's NYC office and Warehouse space in Jersey City, runs from May 24, 2027, to August 20, 2027, and requires 20–30 hours per week scheduled around the intern's class and university commitments. The program is unpaid, requires school credit, and is a fixed-term learning experience with no expectation or guarantee of continued employment.

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with Jomboy Media content across all platforms.
• Experience or coursework using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn across many parts of production.
• Understanding of Jomboy Media’s brand, voice, and audience.
• Organized, creative, a good communicator, and a team player.
• Able to work out of either the NYC office or Warehouse in Jersey City on assigned days.
• Must receive school credit.

Responsibilities

• Assist content and production teams under supervision to learn the content creation cycle.
• Shadow producers working on new and existing Jomboy Media brands.
• Contribute creative ideas for engaging the community across content and social channels.
• Assist with research, show logistics, and analytics to support production.
• Observe and assist producers, editors, and the social team to learn how content aligns with brand strategy.
• Gain exposure to live events, studio shows, run-and-gun content, and podcasts under the guidance of the team.
