About The Position

Jomboy Media's Content Internship is a hands-on training program for students interested in learning how sports media content is produced, from live events and studio shows to social media. Interns work for academic credit and shadow and assist content creators, editors, and producers under direct supervision, gaining exposure to flagship shows including Warehouse Games, Talkin' Yanks, Talkin' Baseball, and Breakdowns. The internship runs from January 19, 2027, through May 14, 2027, and is based at Jomboy Media's NYC office and Warehouse space in Jersey City. Interns work 20–30 hours per week around their class and university schedules. The program is unpaid, requires school credit, and is a fixed-term learning experience with no expectation of continued employment.

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with Jomboy Media content across all platforms.
• Experience or coursework using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn across many parts of production.
• Understanding of Jomboy Media's brand, voice, and audience.
• Organized, creative, a good communicator, and a team player.
• Able to work out of either the NYC office or Warehouse in Jersey City on assigned days.
• Must receive school credit.

Responsibilities

• Learn the content creation cycle by assisting content and production teams under supervision.
• Shadow producers on new and existing Jomboy Media brands.
• Contribute creative ideas for engaging the community across content and social channels.
• Assist with research, show logistics, and analytics to support production.
• Observe and assist producers, editors, and the social team to learn how content aligns with brand strategy.
• Gain exposure to live events, studio shows, run-and-gun content, and podcasts under the guidance of the team.
