About The Position

Veterans United’s Spring 2027 internship is a paid, fast-paced, experiential program for students seeking hands-on work experience and personal and professional development. Interns contribute to real projects and daily tasks, learn from teammates, participate in workshops and leadership sessions, and build relationships across departments. Internship placements may be in business, finance, operations, sales, or technology. The role is located in Columbia, Missouri.

Requirements

• Currently be a student; junior or senior year of college is ideal.
• Be adaptable, collaborative, and eager to learn.
• Have strong communication and analytical skills.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Be excited to contribute, problem-solve, and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support the assigned department with daily tasks and projects.
• Learn how the team fits into the mortgage industry.
• Participate in professional development and team-building events.
• Collaborate with peers and leaders to improve processes and contribute ideas.
• Take part in job shadowing, workshops, leadership sessions, skill-building opportunities, and volunteer opportunities.
