About The Position

Slingshot AI is seeking a Content Creator - Social to help build their content engine from the ground up. This role involves turning raw ideas into daily output, shaping a scalable system, and defining the brand's presence. The creator will work closely with design, move quickly, and focus on clarity over polish. The position is not a typical social media manager role, but rather an opportunity to shape a new kind of brand in culture at the intersection of product and storytelling.

Requirements

Experience through content creation, creative direction, or a social-native role
Proven ability to build something - an account, a format, a campaign - that resonated
Understanding of the craft of content creation
Taste and the ability to articulate it
Ability to write clearly, simply, with emotional precision
Ability to move fast and not get precious
Ability to think in systems, not just individual posts

Create content daily
Turn ideas into posts - text-first, carousels, short-form video - across our social media accounts
Own the content calendar and maintain a steady pipeline from idea to draft to publish
Direct the visual language by partnering with designers to translate copy into clean, repeatable visual formats
Track shares, saves, and engagement patterns to identify what's breaking through and why
Refine tone and format over time based on evidence
Find and collaborate with creators who genuinely get Ash's voice
