About The Position

Night Vision Devices (NVD), a U.S. Veteran Owned Small Business and manufacturer and tactical integrator of night vision binoculars, monoculars, and weapon sights, is seeking a creative, results-driven Content Creator & Social Media Strategist. The role executes and maintains the company’s social media presence by developing strategy, creating and editing engaging content, and managing day-to-day publishing across multiple platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, sales, and brand recognition.

The position works with Business Development and management on social media strategy and goals. It creates photography and video content featuring NVD products, identifies creators and collaborators to expand reach, interacts with social media audiences, and uses performance metrics to refine content and increase SEO. The role is onsite in Whitehall, Pennsylvania, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Some overnight and weekend travel to events may be required to capture content.

Requirements

• Proven photography and videography skills, including shooting and editing.
• Experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.
• Working familiarity with social scheduling and analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, and Google Analytics.
• Ability to analyze metrics and adjust strategy accordingly.
• Experience with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, and video-creation tools.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and best practices.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Comfort taking photos and videos in a regulated range environment around firearms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Development and management to develop social media strategies and define goals.
• Create, schedule, and publish content across multiple social media platforms.
• Capture and edit short-form videos, including Reels and TikToks, long-form YouTube videos, and lifestyle and action photography featuring products.
• Source high-performing affiliate partners, creators, and brand collaborators aligned with the target demographic to expand product reach.
• Respond to and interact with day-to-day social media engagement.
• Identify emerging trends and incorporate them into social content across platforms.
• Track and analyze performance metrics and use results to increase SEO.
• Stay current on social media tools and best practices.
