About The Position

Alpaca Health enables clinicians to become entrepreneurs, starting in autism care. We help clinicians launch and scale their own clinics by providing AI-powered software, payer contracting, and full back-office infrastructure. Our goal is simple: shift power in healthcare away from large consolidated entities and back to clinicians. We are growing quickly and expanding into new states this year. The problems we are solving are operationally complex, high-stakes, and deeply meaningful for families. We've raised over $14M in funding from early-stage investors like Core Innovation Capital, Adverb Ventures, and South Park Commons, and are building for long-term category leadership. More importantly, we're serving hundreds of patients, while growing 30% MoM. We are hiring a Content & Community Marketing Manager to build Alpaca Health’s voice and presence across both sides of our ecosystem: families and providers. This role is about storytelling and connection. You will shape how Alpaca shows up online and in real life through content, conversations, and community. From viral short-form video to in-person events, you’ll create experiences that build trust with parents and credibility with clinicians. This is not a performance marketing role. It’s about creating content and communities that people genuinely want to engage with—and that compound over time.

Requirements

  • Strong instincts for what makes content resonate, especially in video and social
  • Excited about storytelling—real people, real conversations, not polished corporate messaging
  • Experience building or managing communities, and understanding what keeps people engaged over time
  • Ability to move between creative direction and execution, but prefer building systems over doing everything yourself
  • Taste and judgment, especially when handling sensitive topics like healthcare and patient stories
  • Care about building something meaningful, not just driving clicks
  • NYC-based (or open to relocation)
  • Work in person 5 days a week

Responsibilities

  • Build a parent-facing content engine
  • Create and scale short-form video (TikTok, Reels, etc.) that captures real moments, stories, and insights from autism care
  • Run interviews and conversations with real parents to surface authentic perspectives
  • Elevate patient journeys and stories in a way that is thoughtful, respectful, and compelling
  • Develop a strong, recognizable voice that resonates with families
  • Build a parent community
  • Design and run community experiences for families (virtual and in-person)
  • Create ongoing engagement loops beyond one-time interactions
  • Foster a sense of trust, support, and belonging among parents navigating autism care
  • Build provider-facing content
  • Own webinar and CEU programming as a core channel
  • Develop content that speaks to BCBAs and clinic owners (starting a practice, growing a clinic, delivering quality care)
  • Partner with clinicians to create credible, high-signal content
  • Build a provider community
  • Create spaces for clinicians to connect, learn, and grow (events, groups, ongoing touchpoints)
  • Strengthen Alpaca’s position as a hub for ambitious, independent providers
  • Design programming that keeps providers engaged over time
  • Turn content and community into systems
  • Build repeatable content and community programs, not one-off efforts
  • Manage contributors, creators, and partners to scale output
  • Track what resonates and double down on it
