About The Position

UPSTACK is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to own the content engine that powers demand generation campaigns, thought leadership, sales enablement, and brand presence. This is an execution-first role requiring editorial judgment and an AI-forward mindset, focusing on how content, automation, and AI tools can drive better outcomes. The role reports directly to the Director of Product & Growth Marketing and is part of UPSTACK's transformation into an AI-augmented advisory platform.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years in B2B content marketing, ideally in technology, SaaS, or professional services.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt to different formats (e.g., LinkedIn posts, whitepapers).
  • Proficiency in using AI tools in a daily workflow, with a point of view on their effectiveness and a desire to explore further.
  • Comfortable working in a build environment with a high degree of ownership.
  • Organized, self-directed, and execution-focused with the ability to manage multiple content streams.

Nice To Haves

  • HubSpot experience for building emails, landing pages, and managing lists.
  • Experience with SEMrush or Ahrefs for keyword research, content gap analysis, and SEO performance tracking.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager for organic strategy and/or paid amplification.
  • Experience with Asana for content calendar and project management.
  • Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Express for light design of social and campaign assets.
  • Familiarity with Gong or similar sales call intelligence tools to inform content strategy.
  • Experience with analytics for content performance measurement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop long-form articles, executive POVs, and ghostwritten thought leadership for target verticals.
  • Manage blog strategy and execution, including drafting, approvals, and publishing.
  • Create case studies and client proof narratives in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Produce sales enablement collateral such as one-pagers, campaign assets, and leave-behinds.
  • Manage the LinkedIn content calendar, including company page content, executive/advisor voice content, and engagement cadence.
  • Develop and implement an amplification strategy for thought leadership and campaign content.
  • Build and deploy email nurture sequences and campaign sends in HubSpot.
  • Optimize landing page copy and CTAs in collaboration with the Performance Marketing lead.
  • Create ICP-specific content tailored to personas.
  • Update and refresh website copy as messaging evolves.
  • Produce SEO-informed content in partnership with the Performance Marketing lead.
  • Support events and PR with pre- and post-event content and logistics.
  • Manage company announcements, press releases, and basic media hygiene.
  • Actively use AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity) to accelerate content production and ideation.
  • Propose and implement workflows for how AI can improve content operations.
  • Help establish UPSTACK's internal content AI playbook.
