About The Position

Charlie Health is a pioneer in its approach to mental health treatment, offering personalized, virtual care rooted in connection. Our mission is to connect the world to life-saving behavioral health treatment. We are expanding our Contemplative Programming Department and seeking exceptional Contemplative Practitioners to provide remote, telehealth services. This role supports clients in developing mindful awareness, cultivating wisdom, discovering purpose, living compassionately, and practicing self-inquiry. We are looking for forward-thinking mental health and substance use professionals to enhance our programming and provide the best possible care to our clients. This is a contract / 1099 position that allows flexibility in scheduling, with a minimum requirement of 9 permanent group hours per week. Successful candidates are committed to bettering the mental health of their clients, adept at self-care, and prepared to address the rural mental health crisis.

Requirements

• Clinical experience and/or experience in mental health or behavioral health is required.
• Must be available during late afternoons and evenings on weekdays (3-8pm MT on Monday to Thursday) and on Saturdays.
• Experience with a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults is required.
• Experience with high acuity populations is required.
• Must be certified in your contemplative practice (all disciplines are welcome to apply), and/or hold a Clinical license.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching/facilitating experience in your contemplative field.
• Availability between 9 and 40 hours per week.
• The technical ability to run effective telehealth sessions.
• Reliable WIFI connection when meeting with clients.
• Work authorized in the United States.
• Native or bilingual English proficiency.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in mental health or related field strongly preferred.
• Creative and engaging, especially over video!

Responsibilities

• Provide remote, telehealth services to clients.
• Facilitate group sessions, dedicating a minimum of 9 permanent group hours per week.
• Integrate contemplative practices into a treatment approach.
• Work effectively in a team.
• Run effective telehealth sessions.
• Use cloud-based communication software (Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox), EMR, and survey software daily.
