About The Position

The Consumer Loan Processor is responsible for supporting the Loan Officers in the processing, distribution, and follow-up of member loans received from Partner Dealers while representing GECU with effective member service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be available to work Saturdays and mandatory overtime as needed
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
• Excellent proofreading capabilities required
• Good computer skills to quickly learn and become proficient in multiple systems including Microsoft Office and Credit Union systems
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of loan documentation and required accompanying title work
• Keep up to date of knowledge of GECU loan policies and current interest rates
• Have a general understanding of the operations of other GECU departments
• Must understand and comply with all required federal and state regulations associated with this position

Nice To Haves

• Administrative and office support experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Review and proofread physical and electronic loan documentation for accuracy
• Complete all data entry required in the processing, distributing, and follow-up of member loans received from Partner Dealers
• Maintain all files for the department
• Perform other duties as assigned
