About The Position

Justice Federal Credit Union is seeking member-driven, collaborative candidates with a growth mindset for the position of Consumer Loan Processor. This role is responsible for the accurate, efficient, and timely processing of loans and disbursing the consumer loan documentation within Justice Federal’s lending guidelines.

Requirements

Three to five years of similar or related experience.
A two-year college degree, or completion of specialized certification or licensing, or completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors. Additional experience as a substitution for a degree may be considered.
Proven experience in a Consumer Lending Processor or similar role within the financial industry.
Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs., as needed, and requires extended periods of sitting and/or standing and to be able to use PC, copier, scanner, fax, etc.

Responsibilities

Manages assigned pipeline of consumer loan applications (est. 40+ loans)
Prepares loan packages for underwriting within provided timelines.
Counsels members on appropriate lending products and actively cross-sells to meet goals.
Obtains additional documentation and/or information when required by the Underwriter to complete the loan package.
Disburses loans according to the underwriting guidelines and/or instructions.
