About The Position

This is a great opportunity to break into the financial services industry and build valuable experience in loan processing, operations, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll play a key role in ensuring loans are processed accurately and efficiently—from application to funding—while partnering closely with internal teams. The role involves reviewing and auditing loan applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete, generating and sending loan contracts, processing and funding loans, managing a shared queue of incoming applications, and partnering closely with loan officers and internal teams to resolve issues. You will also assist with system updates, testing, and special projects as needed. The day-to-day workflow includes processing and reviewing loan applications, verifying documentation, sending contracts, and handling internal communication. There is no direct customer interaction, all collaboration is internal. The team processes 2,500–3,200 loan applications monthly. The role involves approximately 70% loan processing and 30% communication and follow-up. Tools used include Microsoft Office, Loan Origination Systems (LOS), and internal banking platforms. You will gain exposure to multiple loan products, including personal loans (lines of credit, installment loans), auto loans (purchases, refinances, lease buyouts), and title-secured loans. Success in this role is defined by a strong focus on accuracy, speed, and productivity, meeting turnaround expectations, maintaining high-quality work while managing a high-volume workload, and staying organized, responsive, and detail-oriented under pressure.

Requirements

  • 2+ years financial services or banking experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Review and audit loan applications and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure all required documentation and stipulations are completed before funding
  • Generate and send loan contracts (DocuSign/UPS) and confirm all signatures are obtained
  • Process and fund loans once all requirements are met
  • Manage a shared queue of incoming applications and prioritize work effectively
  • Partner closely with loan officers and internal teams to resolve issues and move applications forward
  • Respond to internal requests quickly and thoroughly to meet service level expectations
  • Assist with system updates, testing, and special projects as needed
