About The Position

Farm Bureau Bank is seeking a Consumer Loan Processor to join their team in San Antonio, Texas. This in-person role offers the potential for a hybrid schedule after 90 days. The position involves reviewing loan documentation, providing administrative support to lending staff, handling loan closings, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations. The role also includes customer service, fraud detection, and identifying cross-sell opportunities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with some college work desired
  • 2-years experience in a banking environment
  • 2-years general lending experience

Responsibilities

  • Review incoming documentation and notes from Agents in the lending system.
  • Save supporting loan documents and financial statements into the imaging system (Image Grabber and/or Docutreev).
  • Provide loan administrative support for consumer and commercial lending staff, including loan follow-up, correspondence, and customer service to the Farm Bureau member and/or Farm Bureau Insurance representatives.
  • Handle loan closings to include collection of needed documentation, payee information and proper loan packet setup (consumer or commercial loans).
  • Detect and prevent application fraud and identity theft.
  • Verify completeness and accuracy of the credit application.
  • Ensure all notes are followed and comply with loan policy.
  • Handle moderate inbound and outbound phone volume to deliver decisions.
  • Manage email pipeline to meet business objectives.
  • Work with consumer lending underwriters to capture and resolve credit and collateral exceptions to ensure banks interests are protected.
  • Complete CIP according to procedures to ensure compliance with BSA.
  • Input and close loans according to lending requirements and loan amount and term requirements met.
  • Replace products in system according to lending procedures.
  • Update transaction types according to lending procedures.
  • Identify and communicate all cross-sell opportunities for GAP, MMP, and other products.
  • Retrieve and save collateral values from vendor websites such as NADA as instructed by procedures.
