About The Position

Centra Credit Union is hiring a full-time Consumer Loan Processor at its headquarters in Columbus, Indiana. The position processes and closes Consumer Direct and Indirect loan products, working closely with Retail Team Members and Dealer Partners to ensure loans close accurately and on time. It is also responsible for servicing Consumer loan products. The starting wage is $21.88 per hour. Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
• Under one year of similar or preparatory experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Log and review files for Indirect loan products to determine whether all required items have been collected.
• Provide members with all Consumer real estate loan disclosures.
• Review Consumer Direct loan applications to determine whether all required items have been collected.
• Update Consumer Direct loan applications in preparation for closing.
• Prepare all Consumer Direct loan documents for closing.
• Communicate with dealer partners about missing file items and funding questions.
• Communicate with Retail Team Members regarding loan closing information.
• Mail out and/or process payoffs for external and internal accounts.
• Order and review appraisal, title, and flood services for Consumer Real Estate loan products.
• Fund all Consumer loan products to the Centra core system.
• Input accurate HMDA information for all Consumer Real Estate loan products.
• Assist with servicing all Consumer loan products.
• Perform additional duties as requested.
