About The Position
North Star Community Credit Union is seeking an experienced Consumer Lending Manager to lead its consumer lending team, drive performance, and deliver exceptional member experiences. The position oversees lending operations, provides underwriting guidance, and supports loan decision-making while monitoring portfolio performance, risk, and compliance. The manager improves lending processes and member experiences and partners with leadership to support lending strategy and growth. The role also focuses on coaching and developing the team and contributing to a community-focused organization.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of consumer lending or financial services experience.
- Strong knowledge of underwriting, credit analysis, and lending regulations.
- Leadership and team development experience.
- Experience with lending technology and loan origination systems.
