About The Position

Vertafore is seeking a Consultant II for its Professional Services organization to consult with enterprise and strategic customers and implement the Surefyre product. The role includes project planning, educating customers, collaborating on key decisions to promote best practices, business solutions, and product adoption, and addressing business challenges and gaps. The ideal candidate is energetic, quick to learn, results-driven, self-starting, collaborative, and brings a creative, positive, can-do attitude.

The Consultant serves as a subject matter expert on Surefyre, its methodology, and MGA business operations. The role involves working on implementation project teams, managing multiple consulting engagements, and delivering customer presentations and virtual consultative sessions.

The position is based at an office location and requires travel up to 10% of the time. Physical requirements include occasional lifting or moving up to 10 pounds, frequent repetitive hand and arm movements to operate a computer, close vision for computer work, and frequent sitting and/or standing. The selected candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will undergo pre-employment drug and background screenings.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working as a Consultant; insurance industry experience is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Professional Services organization.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage and influence effectively at all levels, handle crucial conversations, and manage conflict resolution.
• Ability to prioritize workload and tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills.
• Outstanding time management skills.
• Ability to be creative and innovative.
• Ability to problem-solve effectively and react to situations decisively.
• Flexible and adaptable to change.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Surefyre.
• Strong knowledge of insurance or MGA practices.
• Broad knowledge of agency management systems, other business applications, and content management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on the Surefyre product, its methodology, and MGA business operations.
• Participate in project teams implementing Surefyre products and delivering Professional Services.
• Manage multiple consulting engagements concurrently.
• Conduct presentations and educational sessions.
• Deliver virtual consultative sessions with customers.
• Analyze customer business operations and methodology to develop best practices.
• Recommend solutions for customer pain points, gaps, needs, and goals.
• Conduct user acceptance testing with customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
