About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment at a client site by actively monitoring the premises and patrolling locations. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents, protects client property and personnel, preserves order, and enforces site regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods; may include climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds.

• Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background.
