About The Position

The Construction Site Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling locations. The role involves preserving order and enforcing site regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.

Officers observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site to help protect client property and personnel. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. The employer describes retail, food service, or hospitality experience as a good fit. Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check and meet applicable state, county, and municipal security licensing requirements. The role requires excellent customer service skills and frequent sitting, standing, and walking, sometimes for extended periods, as well as possible stair climbing and walking on inclines or uneven terrain.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers or guards.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently, including for long periods; may need to climb stairs and walk on inclines and uneven terrain.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
