Requirements

  • Experience in construction sales, home improvement sales, or related building‑materials industries preferred.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction, especially insulation, gutters, or building envelope systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to read basic construction plans and understand jobsite terminology.
  • Self‑motivated with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Comfortable working in homes, attics, crawlspaces, and jobsite environments when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, jobsite visits, and relationship building with homeowners, builders, and contractors.
  • Conduct in‑home assessments to evaluate insulation and gutter needs, explain product options, and provide accurate estimates.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with custom home builders, remodelers, and retrofit clients.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, including follow‑up and post‑installation customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with installation teams to ensure accurate project details, timelines, and customer expectations.
  • Track sales activity using CRM tools and maintain organized records of leads, proposals, and customer interactions.
  • Stay informed on building codes, energy‑efficiency standards, and product innovations in insulation and gutter systems.
  • Represent the company professionally at trade shows, home shows, and industry events.
