About The Position

Twining, Inc., an innovative engineering, testing, and inspection company, is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager to work on a project in the Concord area at the Motco Military Base.

Requirements

Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience on large Army Corps projects.
Current certification by the Army Corps or Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Construction Quality Management is highly desirable.
Have or are willing to obtain QCM certification.
Experience with hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability.
Strong understanding of construction materials, engineering principles, and field inspection/testing procedures.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with owners, engineers, contractors, and field staff.
Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Current certification by the Army Corps or Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Construction Quality Management is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the implementation of the CQCM Plan and serving as the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO).
The CQC Manager oversees QC activities.
Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific Quality Control Plan, including updates as work progresses.
Conduct daily quality inspections, document findings, and ensure all work complies with project plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
Review and approve subcontractor submittals, including materials, mix designs, installation procedures, and equipment documentation.
Ensure qualified technicians perform all onsite testing and review test reports for accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate with the Contractor, Owner, and design team to resolve nonconformance issues, track NCRs, and verify corrective actions.
Maintain complete and organized QC documentation, including inspection forms, test reports, RFIs, submittal logs, and daily reports.
Review project drawings, specifications, and updated revisions to ensure field compliance and communicate changes to project teams.
Monitor subcontractor operations to ensure proper construction methods, sequencing, and installation per approved plans.
Participate in progress meetings and quality coordination meetings and regularly interface with client representatives.
