About The Position

We are looking for a Construction Quality Control Manager to join our Field Operations team. Project assignment is located in Barksdale, LA, on an active military base. QC Managers are responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a project-specific quality control program, executing its performance according to contract requirements, completing administrative documentation on time, and cultivating customer satisfaction with the client, all in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Preference will be given to local candidates; however, per diem is available for qualified out-of-area candidates. The QC Manager role is an on-site position.

Requirements

Ten or more years combined experience (or equivalent) in the commercial construction industry as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer required
Two years' experience as a QC Manager required
A current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate is required
Level 1 EM 385-1-1, CRP, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour certifications required
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) required
Evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire
Successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base

Nice To Haves

BA/BS degree in Industrial/Construction/Electrical/ Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent work experience and training)
RMS/QCS training
Specialty inspection training and licenses/certs
LEED AP, AP+, or Green Associate (GA) Certificate
Specific software literacy (Procore, Autodesk Build, RMS/QCS)
