About The Position

RQ Construction is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager to join our Field Operations team for upcoming work at Naval Base King's Bay, Georgia. This role is crucial for ensuring project success on an active military base. The QC Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a project-specific quality control program, ensuring its execution aligns with contract requirements, managing administrative documentation efficiently, and fostering client satisfaction, all while upholding RQ's core values. This is an on-site position, and local candidates will be prioritized. Relocation or travel to the on-site management location will be necessary.

Requirements

A BA/BS degree in Industrial/Construction/Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent work experience and training.
Ten or more years combined experience (or equivalent) in the commercial construction industry as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer.
Two years' experience specifically as a QC Manager.
A current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate.
Level 1 EM 385-1-1 certification.
CRP certification.
First Aid certification.
OSHA 30-hour certification.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.).

Nice To Haves

RMS/QCS training.
Specialty inspection training and licenses/certs.
LEED AP, AP+, or Green Associate (GA) Certificate.
Specific software literacy (Procore, Autodesk Build, RMS/QCS).

Responsibilities
